Sotiris, praised for his exceptional palette of colors and remarkable technique, explores a vast repertoire, from the 17th century to contemporary music. In his quest to expand the horizons of the guitar, he has collaborated with many composers. His solo career began at the age of 10, with his first recital. Today, he performs throughout Europe and Asia, both as a soloist and chamber musician.

The award winning guitarist and chamber musician collaborates with the major orchestras of his native Greece and performs for the French Radio (France Musique) and the National Television of his country (ERT). With the French accordionist Julien Beautemps they formed “Argos”, an explosive duet with completely original arrangements of masterpieces like Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue or Ravel’s Bolero...

Named “Révélation Guitare Classique 2024” by Guitare Classique Magazine, the Greek guitarist has won numerous prizes in prestigious international competitions, including 1st prize at the Concours International de Guitare dAntony (France), the Seville International Guitar Festival (Spain), the Roland Dyens International Competition (France), the Veria International Guitar Festival (Greece), and the Asia International Guitar Festival (Thailand). A laureate of the 2023 Fondation Banque Populaire, Sotiris is regularly invited to give masterclasses at international festivals and currently teaches at the Conservatoire Régional de Versailles.

Sotiris is passionate about sharing his music with others and is recognised as an innovative and deeply musical artist. An inspired guitar teacher, he is currently a professor in the Regional Conservatory of Versailles.
